Welcome to the Nordhoff Parent Association
We bring families, educators, and the community together to enrich the
lives of Nordhoff High School students through academic, athletic,
artistic, and career-building opportunities.
Join us in supporting the programs, experiences, and resources that help
every Ranger learn, grow, and thrive.
Together, we make more possible for Nordhoff students.
Help Make Our Classroom Supplies Abundant!
Every little bit helps in a big way.
Whether it’s notebooks, art supplies, highlighters, calculators, or school supplies, your gift helps us provide
teacher supplies throughout the year.
Donate to Classroom Supplies
With your support, the Nordhoff Parent Association can help provide supplies to our teachers that help our students (think clorox wipes during flu season, tissues for allergies, snacks for after school help, highlighters, art supplies, etc.). At the beginning of the year, we love to welcome our teachers to a shopping spree of school supplies that are most requested. *The Ojai Unified School District provides what is needed by students in class, but extra supplies is always welcome for our amazing students & teachers.
Every gift—large or small—makes a difference.

Support PEER WELLNESS
Students will explore mental and behavioral health through a variety of disciplines including reading and writing, history, and science. A primary focus of the course is on self-knowledge and building capacity to serve as campus leaders for mental health awareness and wellness. They will define mental illness, differentiate between myths and truths about mental health, and identify how the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system relate to physical, mental, and emotional health. Students will have the opportunity to assess their own mental and behavioral health status. Students will learn about multiple roles within the healthcare system to inform their understanding of preventing, diagnosing, and treating mental and behavioral illnesses, will debate the ethics of different situations surrounding mental illness, and will look at the system-wide successes and barriers to healthcare on a national and international scale. Students in the Peer Wellness course will be trained in peer mediation skills in service of the student community and in preparation for careers in the mental health and legal professions. Peer Wellness II will be available during the 2022-2023 school year for pathway completion.

Please help support Nordhoff musicians!
The NPA's mission is to enrich the lives of students, their families and the community by supporting The Arts, Academics and Athletics at Nordhoff, as well as enhancing community spirit through volunteering.
During the 2019/20 school year, the Nordhoff Parent Association contributed over $50,000 to pay for Athletic Awards and Tournament Fees, as well as provided grants to the Drama, Dance, and Music departments. The NPA also provided funds to the Peer Tutoring Program, College and Career Center, and computer classes, funded Athletic and Academic Equipment, and Student Appreciation and Scholarship Opportunities.
We also coordinated and resourced two Campus Cleanup Days, donated chairs for the Quad area to promote small group discussions and resourced two Teacher Appreciation events. Volunteers are the heart of our organization - and we are always looking for folks to work the Snack Bar, Spring Showcase, Beautification Day, Grad Night, Graduation, Dances, etc. If you have the time and would like to join us, please email [email protected] with your contact information. Thank you!
